Dr Tolleiv Trimborn, Co-founder and CEOTolleiv combines a commercial and scientific background.
Before joining Therosteon he was general manager of DNage, a successful spin-out of the Erasmus MC that was acquired by Pharming in 2006. Prof. Hans van Leeuwen, Founder and CSOHans has been active in bone metabolism research his entire academic carreer.
He received since his PhD from Leiden University working on transmembrane activated signal pathways mediating the regulation of osteoblast function.
He is active in many international committees and boards and as such has a strong network in the R&D communities of bone diseases. Dr Marco Eijken, Founder and Director Technology Development Marco received his PhD at the Erasmus Medical Center with his thesis entitled “Human Osteoblast Differentiation and Bone Formation: Growth
Factors, Hormones and Regulatory Networks”. After receiving his PhD he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Hans van Leeuwen.
